Developed in the year 1935 by Kate sessions for the 1935 California Pacific International Exposition held to promote the San Diego economy, the (old) Cactus Garden, San Diego, located behind the Balboa Park Club, is a historical site at the Balboa Park. Considered as an ode to the well maintained garden, it’s sure to take you back to 1935.
It consists of various types of cactuses including some of the largest species of the family and some succulent specimens too. You will also find some exotic ones here from Africa and Australia among the others.
