There is no railway station at Saputara. So, if you want to come by train, you will have to take a train to Surat from Mumbai, and take a train from Surat to the Bilimora Junction, located 50 km from (Read More) Saputara. Buses and cars are available from the station to reach Saputara. 2-3 days are good enough to chill in Saputara as well as see some of the fascinating sights of the place. The Ropeway is near the Saputara view point, also known as town view point. The operating hours are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, but the best time is during sunset. Ticket charges are INR 62 per person for all above 3 years. The ropeway will not run unless there are twelve passengers, so do not go during off season time. If the ropeway and waterfalls are your main reason to go to Saputara, October and November would be the best time to visit Saputara.
