What is the best time to visit Syros?
The peak time, popular among tourists, in Syros is during summer (July and August) when the temperatures reach about 30 degrees and it is warm and breezy making the weather a bit uncomfortable. The best time to visit the island is in the months of May,June, September and October when the wind becomes cooler and weather is still warm and lovely with lesser crowds. November to April are the winter months when the weather is brisk with unavoidable dramatic storms, making the season difficult and unexplorable for tourists. In addition, everything on this part of the island is pretty much closed during the off season.
