Like all Greece, Milos is best experienced in the shoulder seasons of spring and autumn. During April, May, September and October, the island sees fewer crowds with pleasant weather when swimming is still possible. Summer in June, July and August are crowded and everything is expensive. Winter from November till March experiences mild temperatures, but it can get chilly and wet. It is quite possible to travel to Milos during winter if one can tolerate the cold. There are also limited options for activities.
