Varkala Bali Mandapam is a cultural and religious site located near Varkala Beach in Kerala. It is used for the Hindu ritual of Bali Tharpanam, in which devotees offer prayers and ancestral rites, especially during Karkidaka Vavu (the new moon in July or August). The site draws many visitors and devotees who come to pay respects to their ancestors, set against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea.
