The park is located at the Tule springs and is surrounded by multiple small lakes that formed a major chunk of oasis that formed in the Mojave desert. The Floyd Lamb Park is a welcoming oasis with 680 acres of wildlife, lakes, vegetation and gorgeous views of the sheep and spring mountain ranges.

Timings : Summer (April­ - September) 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Winter (October­ - March) 9 a.m. to 5 p.m

Entry fee : $6 per vehicle entrance fee

The Las Vegas Lake is located in Nevada and the artificial lake is approximately 320 acre in size. The area is also known as lake las vegas resort. The area is being developed by 5 companies and three are already three major resorts there like Aston MonteLago Village Resort. The gorgeous blue lake is surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges and picturesque landscapes.

Timings : 24 Hours, but people mostly visit it in between 8am-9am

Entry Fees : $25 per vehicle
$20 per motorcycle
$15 for bicyclists and pedestrians.
An annual park pass will cost $45.

4. Lake Harriet, Las-vegas - Home for the Pahrump Poolfish

Lake Harriet, Las-vegas - Home for the Pahrump Poolfish

Lake Harriet is a home away from home for the Pahrump Poolfish. They were tiny fishes that are about two inches long with a gray colour. The fishes almost were extinct in 1975 when the groundwater was drying up. Dr.James Deacon who was a fish biologist then saved the fishes from becoming extinct when he rescued 29 of these fishes and since then Lake Harriet is their new home where the fishes have survived for generations now. The Lake was a man-made reservoir that was built in the year 1948. The lake is surrounded on all sides by old trees and tall cattails.

The park is a gorgeous place to be with your family and enjoy the ambience over the weekend while camping. Driving through can be slightly difficult so most people bring their campers and trailers. There are no pre-existing facilities so it is suggestible that you bring your stuff from home. The lake is gorgeous and the surrounding mountains add to the glory.
