A massive flash flood caused a Maruti 800 to get washed away due to a cloudburst in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district,near New Sabzi Mandi at Hallan Badgran on Wednesday.
Two people who were in the car have been rescued safely. Assessment of the loss of property was being done due to the sudden flow of water in the area.
The sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) and the Station house officer of the area were on the spot, and the fire brigade had been informed, said the district Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh.
More details about the incident are being awaited.
