How to Apply for an Indian Visa for Mexico?
Step 1: Start by filling out the visa application form online at Indian Visa Online Portal. The application form is available in English only.Step 2: Upload a digital photograph as per the prescribed specifications.
After completing the form, the system will generate a PDF application with a unique 12-digit Web File Number starting with ‘MEXMV’.
Step 3: Print the completed application form.
Step 4: Submit the printed form along with the required documents and visa fees to the Embassy of India in Mexico City at the scheduled appointment time.

Document Requirements for Indian Visa
- A printout of the online application form signed by the applicant.
- Two recent color photographs with a white background (5.08X5.08 cm or 2”X2” inches).
- The original passport and a photocopy of the first page. The passport must have a minimum validity of six months from the date of application and at least two blank visa pages.
- Any previously issued Indian visas and their photocopies.
- Original and copy of Mexican Identity Proof (FM-2 or FM-3 for foreign nationals).
- Copy of air and accommodation bookings.
- Financial standing proof (original pay slips for the last three months, personal income tax return, or original bank statement for the last three months certified by the bank).
- Original fee receipts for the applicable visa fee deposited in the respective bank accounts of the Embassy.
For financially dependent children: original and copy of the Birth Certificate duly apostilled by SRE.
For financially dependent parents: original and copy of the Birth Certificate of the main applicant duly apostilled by SRE.
