Documents Required for Tourist Visa
Passport: Original passport with a minimum validity of six months from the application date and at least two blank pages. All old passports must be submitted with the application. If lost, include the GD copy.Photographs: One recent passport-size color photograph (2x2 inches) with a white background.
National ID/Birth Certificate: A copy of the National ID Card or Birth Certificate, whichever is applicable.

Indian Visa Validity & Processing TIme

- Stay during each visit should not exceed 15 days.
- Non-extendable.
- Valid for up to one year.
- Continuous stay during each visit should not exceed 90 days.
- For Bangladeshi nationals over the age of 65 years, a multiple-entry long-term Tourist Visa can be granted for a period of five years, subject to the condition that continuous stay during each visit does not exceed 90 days.

General Information
Passport Delivery
- Passports can be collected on or after the delivery date mentioned in the receipt during the designated delivery time.
- In case of a lost receipt, the applicant must file a General Diary (GD) report at the local police station. The passport will be delivered upon submitting the original GD copy, one photo, and an application at the counter.
- Passport delivery on authorization is not allowed.
Conditions for Entry into India
- Even with a valid visa, entry into India may be prohibited if the visa was obtained by false representation or concealment of relevant facts.
- Entry may be denied if circumstances change between the application date and arrival in India.
- An immigration officer may require a medical examination upon arrival if deemed necessary.
- Registration with the nearest Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) is mandatory if your stay exceeds six months for all visa categories except medical/medical attendant visas. For these visas, registration within 14 days of arrival is required.
