Processing Time & Validity of Indian Visa from Qatar

Registration of Foreign Nationals in India
Foreign nationals with long-term visas (exceeding six months) must register with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) within 14 days of arrival if their stay exceeds six months. Nationals from Pakistan must register within 24 hours, while Afghan nationals must register within 14 days, except those on visas valid for 30 days or less who provide a local address. US, Canada, and Japan nationals with 10-year tourist visas are exempt from registration for stays under 180 days.
