The Highland Park Presbyterian Church was established in 1926 with 290 members. The church got its first building and place of worship a year later in 1927. The church went through a kind of revolution in 1991, when some of the members voted to opt out of the Presbyterian Church and form a church of its own. Although it failed in its objectives, the Church did get released from Presbyterian Church for a hefty fine in 2014.
Today the church is very popular and despite its controversial instances has a very loyal base of devotees and worshipers. The Church conducts various activities and events to keep its devotees engaged and at the same time educate them more about christianity.
