Pulau Carey, Kuala Lumpur Overview
Nestled in Selangor, Carey Island (Pulau Carey)is a great place for a family outing. Located 40km southwest of Kuala Lumpur, Pulau Carey is known for the Mah Meri Cultural Village. The Mah Meri are a subgroup of the Senoi people and known for their woodcarving and expressive masks. To explore the cultural village, try to contact them before visiting as they mostly cater to larger groups.
Carey Island houses several other attractions like oil plantations, a fishing pond, and marvelously carved statues.
