Live Theatre Newcastle

Located on Newcastle’s Quayside, Live theatre offers performances ranging from theatre and plays to stand-ups and live music. The building includes a studio theatre, 160 seater cabaret-style theatre, refurbished rehearsal rooms, a jaunty pub, a soothing cafe and dedicated writer rooms.

Operated by the North East Theatre Trust Limited, a charity, amidst the Baltic Contemporary Art Centre and the Sage Gateshead rests another artistic marvel; the Live Theatre. Established in 1973 and renovated in 2007 with a budget exceeding GBP5 million this place just cannot be missed if you are anywhere near the Newcastle quayside.
