The white beach is a small cove on the southwest coast of Santorini with grey volcanic sand and black pebbles. It is also called Lefki Ammos by the locals. The clear turquoise waters here contrast with surrounding white cliffs. It is perfect for sunbathing and snorkelling.
The water contains rocks, sea urchins and fine gravel, so it is advisable to wear water shoes. The beach is small, and only amenities like a few sunbeds and umbrellas for rent are available. It is accessible by taxi boats, yacht cruises, or by foot from the neighbouring red beach.
