great breakfast buffet, albeit veryt pricey. Beatufil beach and super fun to ride down to the beach from our room which was located closer to the reception area. liked the water service on the beach and the great louge mattresses and towel service
very expensive and relatively small room with no real view. Could hear the freeway traffic at night. also could not get a reservation for the boat tour.

The facilities in the hotel were great. The gym had a lot of equipment, the spa area was beautiful and the beach was extremely clean and well taken care of. We also really liked the onsite restaurant offering - especially Casa Amate was a fantastic culinary experience.
We had a cockroach in the room and had to wait quite some time for housekeeping to come and remove it. The staff was also not apologetic about it. The hotel also double charged me accidentally for the whole stay. I had to wait more than 1 week and multiple email conversations later to get it resolved as the hotel only identified the issue on their side after I sent them confirmations from my bank. I find this quite disappointing from a 5 star hotel at that price range.

The Perfect Resort for a Peaceful Getaway!
This was an excellent hotel to stay in and perfect for the on site concert. It was a breeze to grab a golf cart to the concert and back again. No ques, no hassle, seamless and absolutely worth spending the night there. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms have very comfortable beds, are spotlessly clean and have all the basic amenities you could need. You can easily walk or cycle around the property, and to fully enjoy the landscape in Mayakoba I highly recommend the boat tour. It's a wonderful way to see the whole resort. The beach club of Andaz is beautiful, with plenty loungers and towels. The beach front itself is excellent as they installed seaweed barriers, so you do not have any issues at this resort, just crystal clear waters to swim in. The breakfast buffet was great with lots to choose from and of course great service from the staff there. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and as a local I hope to return again.

I chose to return to Andaz Mayakoba to celebrate my 50th birthday and it was wonderful.
VIP treatment

The ocean view studios are highly recommended.
Wonderful breakfast buffet.
One of the restaurants was closed during our stay but there are other options at Andaz and the other resorts in Mayakoba.
