In contrast, the mountainous areas of the Tien Shan and Altai offer a respite with milder temperatures, averaging between 20°C and 25°C during the day and cooler nights around 10°C to 15°C.

Humidity levels in July are generally moderate, making the heat more bearable. In urban areas such as Astana and Almaty, humidity ranges from 50% to 60%. The southern regions like Almaty and other coastal areas near the Caspian Sea may experience slightly higher humidity, but overall, the dry air typical of Kazakhstan’s climate prevails.

In the mountainous regions, precipitation is slightly higher, helping to keep the landscapes lush and green.
