BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Temple, Dallas Overview
The Bochasanswi Shree Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) initiated the construction of the Mandir in Dallas in 2004. It is one of the many Swaminarayan temple initiated by the Sanstha all around the world. The architectural style is in complete allegiance to the traditional Indian architecture, built entirely out of stones and marbles.
The mandir serves to both foster and propagates individual and collective worship. It is dedicated to teaching the arts, language, music, and philosophy rooted in Hindu heritage.
